WALLACE PAYING TRIBUTE TO CHAMPION RED WINGS

BROOKLYN, Mich. (June 14)Rusty Wallace and his Penske Racing South crew will be paying a special tribute to the NHL Champion Detroit Red Wings in this weekend's Sirius Satellite 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Wallace's Miller Lite Ford Taurus will carry the familiar Detroit Red Wings logo on the lower quarter-panels in the action this weekend on the 2.0-mile racing oval.

"The Red Wings took their third Stanley Cup in Game 5 in Detroit on Thursday night," said Wallace. "We want to salute them for a job well done. We're hoping that we can put their logo in Victory Lane on Sunday. Now that would really be a cool deal."

Wallace is a five-time winner at the Michigan track.
