RUSTY WALLACE TO BE HONORED BY PRESIDENT OBAMA AUGUST 19TH

MOORESVILLE, NC (August 7, 2009)--Rusty Wallace, former NASCAR champion and lead studio analyst for NASCAR on ESPN, will be one of several former NASCAR champions and Chase for the Cup contenders to be honored by U.S. President Barack Obama in a White House ceremony on August 19th.

Other invitees include 2008 Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, the other nine 2008 Chase for the Cup contenders, potential 2009 Chase drivers Mark Martin and Juan Pablo Montoya, as well as former Cup Series champions Richard Petty, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Bobby Labonte and Terry Labonte.

The event, originally scheduled for August 3rd, was rescheduled for August 19th due to the rain-induced postponement of the Pocono Cup Series event.
