THE NASCAR FOUNDATION HOLDS ONLINE AUCTION IN CONJUNCTION WITH RUSTY’S ROAST
Event features never before auctioned experiences with behind the scenes access

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 28, 2009) – The NASCAR Foundation will run an online charity auction July 28-29, featuring highly exclusive VIP experiences and items from former NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace’s personal collection.
 
These five highly exclusive items are:

  • An Iowa Speedway presidential experience that includes the chance to be an honorary team member for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Iowa Speedway in 2010 with one of Rusty Wallace’s teams, four owner’s suite tickets, four VIP access passes, one corvette from Karl’s Chevrolet to drive for the weekend, one chauffeured golf cart for the day, two-night hotel room stay for the event night and one pace car ride
  • A World Trade Center recovery site flag that hung on Musco Lighting truck No. 7 on January 28, 2002
  • A 2010 Daytona 500 event weekend experience that includes tickets to the Daytona 500, VIP access passes, tour of ESPN studio at the track, meet and greet with Rusty Wallace, the opportunity to be on site during portions of an ESPN live taping, the chance to watch the NASCAR Nationwide Series race from the ESPN booth and hot laps around the track with Rusty Wallace
  • A Lowe’s Motor Speedway MillerCoors VIP Experience that includes two clubhouse tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide Series on Friday October 16th, two suite tickets to the NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America on Saturday, October 17th, two VIP access passes, a meet and greet with Kurt Busch and the chance to enjoy watching a pit stop from Busch’s pit box
  • A 2003 Victory Vegas motorcycle from Rusty Wallace’s personal collection that features a Rusty’s Roast special paint scheme.

The auction will close July 29 online but will continue at the Rusty’s Roast live auction event at Iowa Speedway on Thursday, July 30. The high bidder online for each item will have the opportunity to submit a maximum bid to continue bidding during the live auction.
