FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, NC (March 24, 2009)—Officials of Novi, MI-based Living Essentials, LLC (LE) and Rusty Wallace Racing, LLC (RWR) announced today that LE, through its 5-Hour Energy Extra Strength brand, will expand its 2009 sponsorship program with the team.

In addition to LE’s ongoing sponsorship of RWR’s No. 66 and driver Steve Wallace, 5-Hour Energy Extra Strength will serve as primary sponsor of RWR’s No. 62 Chevrolet Impala SS, driven by fourth-ranked Brendan Gaughan, in 13 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series races.  Additionally, 5-Hour Energy will have an increased associate sponsor presence on Wallace’s No. 66 for those 13 events.

The overall 2009 5-Hour Energy racing program debuted with Steve Wallace’s top-ten finish in last weekend’s event at Bristol Motor Speedway.  The expanded program, featuring the No. 62 5-Hour Energy Extra Strength Chevrolet, will make its debut in the April 25th event at Talladega Superspeedway and will conclude with the November 21st season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Stated RWR team owner and former NASCAR champion, Rusty Wallace, “Our entire organization is thrilled to have 5-Hour Energy on board with both of our teams this year.  They have a great brand, a strong product and now they have probably the two most energetic drivers in the garage, in Steve and Brendan.  We’re looking forward to working with them extremely closely in 2009 and growing our partnership into the future.”

LE officials have stated that the company plans to expand its promotion of the sponsorship through a variety of marketing channels, including a continuation of the company’s national television advertising featuring Steve and Rusty Wallace, which began in late 2008.  Additionally, LE currently plans to feature its racing program in a variety of retail outlets during 2009.

Noted LE Vice President of Marketing, Carl Sperber, “Our partnership with Rusty Wallace Racing is a great way not only to align 5-Hour Energy with an exciting young race team, but also spread the word about the hours of alertness and focus our product provides.  Our 2009 program had a great start last weekend with Steve’s top-ten and Brendan’s pole.  We’re really looking forward to our expanded 2009 program and more great things to come.”
